For the vast majority of riders out there who prefer to cycle for fun rather than competition, an endurance road bike like the Liv Avail is the way to go. Compared to a full-blown race bike like the Envie, the Avail features a more upright riding position that helps to ease the strain on a riders back. Combined with its specially designed carbon fibre frame that is designed to filter out bumps and vibrations from the road surface, the Avail is built to provide more comfort. More comfort means you can ride for longer with less fatigue.
In addition to its comfortable riding position, the Avail is also more stable to ride than other road bikes on the market. With a longer wheelbase, you sit further down between the wheels for a nicely ‘grounded’ feel, even when you’re speeding off downhills. The powerful disc brakes add confidence and predictability when diving in and out of S-bend corners, and they also help to reduce the strain on your hands on longer rides.
The Avail Advanced is available in two different models. Both bikes feature a smooth-shifting Shimano drivetrain, which offers plenty of low range gearing for getting up tough hill climbs. Higher volume 25c tyres also increase traction, while absorbing more of the bumps so that you don’t have to. All up, the Avail Advanced offers a smooth and highly refined feel on the road.
