In the Giant line up, there is nothing quite like the Trinity Advanced. As far as bikes with pure intentions go, the Trinity Advanced is about as pure as it gets. Designed as a specialist race weapon for triathlon and time trial racing, the Trinity Advanced is a high-tech carbon fibre speed demon that’s engineered to cut through the headwind with as little effort as possible. If features a low and stretched-out riding position that helps to maximise speed, with bar extensions that allow you to get into the most efficient riding position possible. If you want a regular road bike for general riding, then this is not it. Consider the Giant Defy or TCR instead. But if you’re a triathlete who’s hunting for every possible time advantage for your next Ironman event or short-course triathlon, then the Giant Trinity Advanced is as specialist as it gets.

The latest Trinity Advanced packs in several new technologies to help raise the performance bar over previous versions. In terms of the frame, it uses Giant’s Advanced Grade carbon fibre construction method, which helps to achieve large profile aerodynamic tube shapes that help you to cut through the wind. There’s an integrated fork and steerer tube that reduces frontal drag, while the front brake sits behind the carbon fork blades, and the rear brake is tucked down below the bottom bracket. In addition to this, Giant has designed its own integrated systems for storing both water and gels on the front of the bike via a sleek fairing. There’s even an aerodynamically shaped water bottle that fits seamlessly with the teardrop downtube. Getting the fit dialled in is achieved by a fully adjustable aerodynamic seat post, along with customisable handlebar setup that offers both reach and height adjustment.

The Giant Trinity is available in options from the top-end Advanced Pro 0 all the way down to the entry level Trinity Advanced. All frames use the Advanced carbon fibre construction, while the entry level model downgrades to a carbon fork that uses an alloy steerer tube.
