Just like the unisex Camber, the Women's Camber model is designed as a fun and versatile trail bike. Combining the lightweight and pedal efficiency of the Women’s Epic, with the stability and smooth suspension feel of the Rhyme, the Women's Camber sits in the middle an ideal choice for mountain bikers who want a competent and playful companion for long days in the saddle. To offer a comfortable riding position for female riders, the Women's Camber gets a unique frame that features a shorter reach to the handlebars. It also receives a lighter suspension tune that is better suited to lighter and less aggressive riders, so you can get all of the travel when you need it. That said, not all ladies need to be on the women's specific Camber, as some riders will prefer the longer reach of the unisex version. Whichever fit suits you better, the Camber is an ideal entry point into the world of full suspension mountain bikes when you want light overall weight with maximum versatility.
Compared to the unisex Camber, the Women's Camber bumps up the travel to 130mm travel front and rear to offer a slightly smoother and more grounded feel on the trail. The Women's Camber also only comes with 27.5” wheels, so Specialized have been able to build the frame down to an X-Small size. You can get the Women's Camber in either a carbon or alloy frame construction. Both versions get thru-axle dropouts, an oversized bottom bracket for masses of stiffness and efficiency when cranking on the pedals, and handling that offers more confidence for descending than the race-specific Era FSR model. The carbon frame does help to drop weight down even further though, and it also features a neat storage housing in the downtube that Specialized call the SWAT Door. Add in a dropper seatpost, the AutoSAG rear shock, 1x drivetrain and tubeless compatible tyres, and it goes without saying that the Women's Camber is a thoroughly modern trail bike that offers plenty of real-world versatility.
